The wedding that dreams are made of!

Adam and Chloe were wed in the spectacular Hotel Villa Cipressi in Varenna as the beautiful Lake Como glistened in the background. I feel so lucky that part of my job involves shooting happy couples in the most picturesque locations. I was truly honoured to be a part of their day and was blown away by how breath taking this wedding was.

I first met Chloe at a wedding in April where she was the wonderful maid of honour. This was another magical wedding that I was honoured to photograph and was so excited to be asked by Chloe to shoot her wedding too!

Like many brides and grooms, COVID-19 interfered with their wedding plans - their wedding day was postponed which was highly frustrating and disappointing for the lovely couple. Luckily it was well worth the wait as Adam and Chloe wed on September 8th 2022 and what a day it was.

The day began with excitement in the air as the bridal party cheered with the obligatory glass of champagne as they prepared for the day ahead. Chloe’s bridesmaids and parents were blown away by her beauty as I captured the beautiful first-look moment - a moment that I’m sure all of them will all remember forever.

As Chloe made her way down the alter, she was met by her adoring husband Adam. The couple were married amongst the trees with the sun beaming down over the stunning Lake Como - it really was a fairy-tale. They were surrounded by all of their loved ones and tears of happiness were shed as we all celebrated this beautiful couple!

We then made our way down to the lake as the couple posed by the rocks and I captured some beautiful shots of the newlyweds. Chloe was the most radiant bride whose beauty shone throughout the whole day.

A magical part of the day was the boat trip around the lake with the happy couple. This is a moment I’m sure they will treasure forever and I think the images speak for themselves regarding how happy and in love they are. How iconic to be able to spend a part of your wedding day exploring the beautiful Lake Como!

We then made our way back up to the terrace where the groom made a wonderful speech toasting to his new wife! The newlyweds danced the night away surrounded by so much love and happiness from their guests. The wedding was such a fun day; everybody laughed, cried, and celebrated their love.
